I agree with Nancy Ramsey that other religious systems do need to be taken more seriously ("Marginal Realities: Insider Scholarship in a 'Magical World,'" Opinion, March 26). In fact, the psychology and sociology of religion, as well as the psychology of religious ceremony and ritual, need to have more representation in academe.
