Scholars Object to Education Dept. Endorsement of 10 Math Programs for Children
About 200 mathematicians and scientists, including four Nobel laureates, want Secretary of Education Richard W. Riley to withdraw the federal government's endorsement of 10 mathematics programs for schoolchildren.
