Scholars Begin to Begin to Profit From Software Invention
It took 13 years, but Marcus E. Brown is finally reaping the rewards of the software he invented with his former graduate student, Joey Rogers.
Mr. Brown, an associate professor of computer science at the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa, guided Mr. Rogers in designing software that can recognize computer users based on their timing in pressing and releasing lettered keys on the keyboard as they type.
