Scholarly Couple Moves to U. of Illinois at Chicago to Start Labor-History Program; Yale's Psychology Department Adds 3 Professors to Youthful Crowd
Sometimes history does repeat itself. Or at least that appears to be the case at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where the hiring frenzy keeps on going.
The latest scholars to make the leap: Leon Fink of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his wife, Susan B. Levine of East Carolina University.
The two historians have been trying to get rid of Ms. Levine's two-and-a-half-hour commute for years, but nothing materialized in the area. Until recently, that is.
