Scholar in Romania Accused of Pedophilia
A prominent American-born historian who is a longtime resident of Romania has been arrested there on charges of child pornography and child molesting.
Kurt W. Treptow, the author and editor of a number of works on Romania and the director of the Center for Romanian Studies, in the eastern Romanian city of Iasi, was arrested there last month.
