Highlights of academic career

Mr. Stroede, 64, is set to retire in June as academic dean and vice president for academic affairs at Defiance College. He began his career at Defiance in 1964 as an instructor of music, and over the years has been chairman of the music department, chairman of arts and humanities, associate academic dean, and acting president.
