Sallie Mae Puts Customers' Interests First

The Chronicle's online article ("Suit Alleges Fraud in Resolving Troubled Student Loans," October 23) is grossly slanted and irresponsible. This is not the first time The Chronicle has demonstrated an overt bias against private-sector lenders. The entire article is based on incorrect assumptions, incomplete facts, and inept analysis.
