Salaries of Mid-Level Administrators Rose by 4.2% in 1999, Study Shows
The median salary of mid-level administrators at colleges is 4.2 percent higher this academic year than last year, a growth rate that is about one and a half times the rate of inflation for 1999, a new study shows.
The study, by the College and University Personnel Association, tracked the median salaries for 121 mid-level positions, such as benefits specialists, accountants, police officers, assistant coaches, and mechanical engineers.
