Safety and Privacy in Dormitories
To the Editor:
Eric Hoover's article about the recent Washington State Court of Appeals ruling ("Police in the Dorms: Student Safety or Privacy Infringement?," The Chronicle, July 25) raises the question of where the line should be drawn between providing adequate safety measures for our nation's students and protecting their constitutional right to privacy.
