Ruling on Theater Sets Back Roosevelt U.
A divided state appeals court in Illinois has tossed out a 1998 ruling that Roosevelt University has exclusive rights to own and operate the Auditorium Theatre, an architectural and historic landmark on its campus. The ruling allows a group that manages the theater to continue its bid for control.
