Rounding Up 'Rogue Servers'
Colleges tighten security by taking central control of machines scattered around their campuses
If information is the lifeblood of any college, then George Washington University has two hearts.
One is on the main campus, in downtown Washington, but the other is 35 miles away, next to a soccer field and townhouse development in suburban Virginia.
The "hearts" are two sophisticated computer centers, loaded with powerful servers that will soon handle most of the tasks
