Roosevelt U. Ruled to Be Renowned Theater's Rightful Owner
Roosevelt University has exclusive rights to own and operate the architecturally renowned Auditorium Theatre on its campus, a state judge in Illinois ruled last month.
The ruling ended a four-year battle touched off when Roosevelt's president, over the objections of the theater's directors, wanted to use half of its $3-million in assets to pay for a new campus.
