Stonehill College, a Roman Catholic institution in Massachusetts, has removed boxes of free condoms placed in dormitories by a student, The Boston Globe reported this morning. The college prohibits the distribution of contraception on the campus.
The student told the Globe she planned to keep a bag of condoms on her own dormitory door, but a spokesman for the college said, “She has taken a position that differs from college policy. I would hope she would remove them.” —Beckie Supiano
