Rollins College to Receive $93-Million Gift, Its Largest Ever
Rollins College announced last week the largest gift in its history, a $93.3-million bequest from a 1935 graduate.
George Cornell, a longtime trustee of the college who died last year, had previously donated two $10-million gifts through the bequest in 1999 and 2001 -- one for a scholarship fund in memory of his wife, Harriet Wilkes Cornell, the other to endow the Rollins presidency.
