Rodin to Resign From Penn Presidency
The president of the University of Pennsylvania, Judith Rodin, plans to step down next year, a decade after she became the first woman to lead an Ivy League institution on a permanent basis.
Penn has just completed a 10-year strategic plan, and Ms. Rodin said that she informed the Board of Trustees of her decision so her resignation could correspond with the beginning of a new 10-year plan. She also will be concluding her second five-year contract next year.
