The ghost of Joe McCarthy still haunts the University of Colorado, whose Board of Regents continues to stand guard over a 50-year-old secret report that named suspected Communists on the Boulder campus, and may have resulted in the firing of several professors.
But now the regents are being forced to defend that secrecy in court.
