Rock 'n' Roll Music Isn't Dead, but It and the Times Are Changing

Kevin J. H. Dettmar should be lauded for his gutsy attack on those academics and critics who let their advancing age and diminishing ability to adapt serve as the indications of rock 'n' roll's demise ("Is Rock 'n' Roll Dead? Only if You Aren't Listening," The Review, May 11).
