Ripon College's President Quits; Faculty at Rockland Community College Votes No Confidence; Fired President Sues Kentucky State U.
PARTING WAYS: The trustees of Ripon College won't talk about the abrupt resignation of the college's president, but he says the decision was by mutual agreement.
The president, Paul B. Ranslow, 54, announced on June 21 that he would leave office on June 30. He had been president of the small college in Wisconsin since 1995, and his hasty departure caught faculty and staff members by surprise.
