Riot Police Arrest Protesters Outside Philippine Education Summit
Six people were arrested and at least a dozen were injured when police officers broke up a crowd of students who had rallied outside an education conference in Manila last month to protest skyrocketing college costs in the Philippines, where tuition tripled at public universities last year and shot up even more at private institutions.
