Researchers Link Breast Cancer to a Virus Carried by Mice
Mice carry a virus that may cause almost half of all cases of breast cancer in North America, according to researchers in the United States and Canada. They reported in the British Journal of Cancer last month that the regional incidence of breast cancer correlates with the presence of one species in the genus Mus, commonly known as the house mouse.
