Researcher Who Was Convicted in Plague Case Is Sentenced to 2 Years in Prison
A former Texas Tech University researcher who was convicted of mishandling plague samples and cheating the university out of its share of clinical-research money was sentenced Wednesday to two years in prison and a $15,000 fine.
