Researcher Believes Web Surveys Could Benefit by Offering Freebies

Offer free stuff.

That's the lesson an Illinois researcher is drawing from a small experiment that may help social scientists learn more about people who use the World-Wide Web. Until now, researchers have had a hard time studying Web users because many of them refuse to fill out on-line surveys.
