So much for bridging the nation’s partisan divide. The only bridges that a group of young GOPers intends to cross will be in Republican-controlled congressional districts. “Where is the Red” features a quartet from the College Republican National Committee traversing 21 states, from Florida to California, without ever driving through a Democratic district.

The group consists of: Christie Jackson, a recent graduate of Clemson University; Jeremy Harrell, a recent graduate of Miami University, in Ohio; Kerry Donnelly, who will be a senior at Fordham University in the fall; and someone named Chris, who does not have biographical information listed on the site.

The goal, according to their blog, is “to prove what the media refuses to acknowledge; that the youth of America are excited about the prospects of a John McCain Presidency and a Republican Congress.” Along the way, the group aims to talk with candidates, volunteers, and voters to “discover what is truly important to Americans this November.”

But what is truly important to American youth also involves a lot of non-election-related experiences, such as complaints about hotels that charge for wireless Internet service, dining at the restaurant of Southern gourmet Paula Deen, in Savannah, Ga., and side trips to Major League baseball games.
