Reports Urge Improvement of Work-Force Training
Calls to shore up the American work force have come steadily in recent years. Two new reports weigh in on the issue — highlighting work-force shortages and urging greater spending on higher education for more Americans.
One report, by the National Commission on Adult Literacy, tackles skills shortages and their effect on the United States, while the other, by the Career College Association, identifies areas in which private career colleges could train more skilled
