Reports Allege Misconduct at UConn
The state's attorney general and a faculty committee at the University of Connecticut have accused various former administrators of the university's Environmental Research Institute of misconduct.
The two reports, issued this month, result from two of several investigations being conducted in response to an anonymous whistle-blower's complaint in July 2002 that the institute had engaged in improper accounting practices and produced artificially manipulated scientific data.
