Report Shows Variance in State Student Aid

For the first time, the National Center for Education Statistics has released a report that provides estimates on the average amount of financial aid received by undergraduates in specific states.

The report, "Undergraduate Financial Aid Estimates for 12 States: 2003-4," was published last week by the statistical branch of the U.S. Education Department.
