Report Says Problems Fixed at U. of La.
The State of Louisiana has given the University of Louisiana at Monroe a clean bill of financial health, the first it has received since accounting problems surfaced in 2000. In turn, the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, which accredits the university, says it will consider removing Monroe from a warning list when the group meets this week.
