Report Says Christian Air Force Cadets Were Encouraged to Proselytize Classmates
The U.S. Air Force Academy faces accusations that it has fostered a climate of religious intolerance, in which Christian cadets are urged to convert Jews, Muslims, and others who are not "born again."
Americans United, an organization that backs the separation of church and state, sent a letter to the academy in April detailing the accusations and "demanding a response" within 30 days, said Richard B. Katskee, the group's assistant legal director.
