Report Released on Scoring of SAT
The College Board has "prudent controls in place to safeguard scoring accuracy" on its SAT exams, and has improved the reliability of its test-scoring process since last fall, says an independent report that the organization released last week.
The report, dated May 26 and prepared by Booz Allen Hamilton Inc., a consulting firm, also recommended several ways that the College Board could minimize the possibility of future scoring errors, including providing No. 2 pencils to test takers
