Report Questions Michigan's Defense in Affirmative-Action Lawsuit
The National Association of Scholars charged in a report issued last week that the University of Michigan misrepresented research findings in federal court in defending its use of racial preferences in admissions.
The university denied the assertion, however, and the association itself quickly came under fire in response to the report's allegations that the keepers of one of the nation's largest repositories of information from colleges have refused to provide access to the data to
