Rensselaer Polytechnic President Quits After No-Confidence Vote
The president of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, R. Byron Pipes, announced his resignation last week, a day after the Faculty Senate issued a vote of no confidence in him.
Mr. Pipes said he would step down on July 1, after five years at the helm of the prestigious engineering institute.
