Remediation Plan Approved for CUNY
The New York Board of Regents gave another stamp of approval in December to controversial admissions changes at the City University of New York, including limits on remediation that were put in place three years ago.
The 16-member board voted unanimously to extend the admissions and remediation policy that the regents have been monitoring since they initially endorsed the policy in 1999.
The regents have examined how the changes have affected student access to the university,
