Remedial Education for College Students May Be Expensive, but It's Important
To the Editor:
Banning remedial students and reducing the number of remedial students in higher education are two different goals ("Cal State Puts Remediation on an 'Or Else' Basis," August 4). I support efforts to accomplish the latter, and I reject any attempt at the former.
