Reluctant to Fly, Campus-Computing Officials Replace a Meeting With a Videoconference
Many of the more than 500 campus-computing officials who were to convene last week in Austin, Tex., were reluctant to fly out of concerns about air safety. So they met in a videoconference instead -- a switch that a growing number of colleges and businesses are making in the wake of last month's terrorist attacks.
