Religious Group Protests Proposed Change in Accreditation Rules for Psychology
The American Psychological Association is considering removing a key exemption in its accreditation standards for religiously affiliated colleges and universities. The association says some of its members fear that psychology departments could use the exemption to discriminate against gay and lesbian students.
