Reform Teaching, Not Curriculum
To the Editor:
Robert M. Diamond's Opinion article, "Broad Curriculum Reform Is Needed if Students Are to Master Core Skills" (August 1), raises a point that all academic administrators should note well: Our grand academic goals are never stated in measurable terms. Success can always be claimed if it can never be measured.
