Record Partnership
The singer-songwriter Matt Duke is moving up in the world — and he's taking students from Drexel University with him.
Mr. Duke was discovered in the fall of 2003 by a Drexel student, who brought a cassette tape of the then-teenager to a class in the university's music-industry program. The artist eventually released an album through the university's student-run record company, MAD Dragon Records.
Now Mr. Duke, 23, is upstreaming — moving to a larger label.
