Recent Developments in For-Profit Higher Education
- In February, programs offered by ITT Technical Institutes, owned by ITT Educational Services Inc. and those of Western International University, a subsidiary of the Apollo Group Inc., were approved by regulators from the Beijing Municipal Education Commission. The action allows Chinese students who have earned the equivalent of an associate degree in China to continue toward a bachelor's degree from ITT or Western International.
