RealNetworks Announces Online-Music Deals With 2 Universities
The University of California at Berkeley and the University of Minnesota have signed deals with RealNetworks to offer the company's online music service at a greatly reduced rate to students on the campuses.
Unlike many of the other colleges that have made agreements with music providers in recent months, neither Berkeley nor Minnesota is paying any money or even guaranteeing a minimum number of subscribers. With the deals, the first the company has signed with colleges, RealNetworks
