'Real Reform' in College Athletics
To the Editor:
Murray Sperber hopes that lawsuits on behalf of the financial interests of college athletes will turn out to be "the necessary prelude to real reform" of big-time college sports ("In Praise of 'Student-Athletes': The N.C.A.A. Is Haunted by Its Past," Point of View, January 8).
