Race and Ethnicity of Students, by Institution: About These Data

The following tables show figures on the race and ethnicity of students at more than 3,200 colleges and universities for the fall of 2006.

The table is limited to public and private nonprofit degree-granting institutions that have 3,000 or more students. It covers two- and four-year institutions in the 50 states and Washington, D.C. The totals include graduate and professional students.
