Questions Raised About Federal Commission's Use of Outside Funds

A federal commission studying the future of higher education has used a portion of a $250,000 grant from the Lumina Foundation for Education to hire a recently retired foundation vice president, raising eyebrows among some higher-education lobbyists and members of the commission.
