Quarter of Female Air Force Academy Cadets Say They Have Been Sexually Assaulted

Almost a quarter of the female cadets who graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy this year were sexually assaulted there, and nearly 12 percent were victims of attempted rape, according to preliminary results of a survey conducted by the Department of Defense.

The survey results, outlined in a report by the department's inspector general, were obtained by NBC News and posted on the MSNBC Web site.
