Qatar Foundation Gives $15-Million to Reconstruct Iraqi Higher Education
The Qatar Foundation has donated $15-million to help rebuild Iraq's battered colleges and universities. The gift from the private, nonprofit foundation in the Persian Gulf emirate of Qatar represents the first financial contribution from another Arab country to assist Iraqi higher education.
