Protests Over Sweatshops Spur 2 Universities to Change Policies
Students at several universities staged sit-ins last week to protest the use of sweatshops in the manufacture of campus apparel, prompting two of the universities to withdraw from an anti-sweatshop group that the protesters consider too weak.
