Protests Close U. of Zululand
The University of Zululand shut down late last month in the aftermath of student protests over the university's handling of recent campus elections.
Police fired rubber bullets at students who stormed the vice chancellor's office, threw rocks, and set fire to a classroom, prompting authorities to order all students to leave the campus October 27.
