Project Brings High-Speed Network to Latin America

Academic researchers worldwide will benefit from a new Internet gateway linking Latin American universities and research facilities to the high-speed research and education networks in Asia, Australia, Canada, Europe, and the United States.

The $30-million backbone network will be operating by the middle of September.
