Program Will Grant Academic Credit to Canadian Students Who Aid Pro-Democracy Projects Abroad
A new program for Canadian college students will allow them to earn academic credit while helping foster democracy in developing nations.
Canada Corps, a multimillion-dollar government project that was created last year, hopes that every Canadian institution will initially send at least one student intern abroad to provide advice and expertise for projects that support good governance.
