Professors' Group Considers New Roles for Faculty Members in College Sports
The faculty are revolting again.
A committee of the American Association of University Professors is taking a hard look at the roles faculty members ought to take in college sports. Led by Carol Simpson Stern, a performance-studies professor at Northwestern University, the Committee on College and University Teaching, Research, and Publication is urging faculty members to involve themselves more in college-sports issues.
