Professors Come and Go, and the 'Gossip' That Results

How come The Chronicle's radar can pick up the "flock" of Johns Hopkins University English professors (three) leaving for other universities over the last few years but can't find the flock (five, three tenured and two untenured) coming from other universities over the same period (Peer Review, February 16)?
